Made from long plastic strips, it acts as both a door replacement or a secondary barrier, protecting your business from accidents, noise, pests, and energy loss.
Installing a plastic strip door is a convenient option for high-traffic areas – less expensive than conventional doors or wall partitions, flexible enough for people to walk or drive through with minimal effort, and strong enough to retain its shape after years of heavy use. Vortex Doors offers plastic door curtains in a wide range of thicknesses, depending on the needs of your business.
Plastic PVC Door Strip Curtains
A plastic door curtain, also known as a PVC strip curtain, is a useful addition to any industrial, commercial, or manufacturing facility.
Climate Control
A PVC strip curtain limits airflow, insulating your workspace at little direct cost. The plastic strips keep outside air from circulating through your building and disrupting your HVAC system. As a result, your heating and air conditioning run less often in order to maintain a consistent temperature, thereby reducing energy costs. By installing a PVC curtain, businesses can create separate environments with significantly different temperatures, operating side by side, without either one affecting the other.
Noise Reduction
Besides air flow, a PVC strip curtain also blocks sound waves. Even small width plastic strips prevent noise from bleeding into adjacent areas, effectively insulating them from the clamor of heavy machinery.
Debris & Pest Control
A plastic door curtain acts as a strong barrier against pests and contaminants. With a door curtain in place, blocking the wind, dust, dirt, and loose leaves are effectively locked outside. The heavy plastic also prevents insects and rodents from getting in and damaging your inventory, assets, and equipment.
Visibility
A plastic door curtain allows you to separate two areas without impeding visibility. Rather than stop to check for potential hazards, employees can maintain optimal speed while moving from one location to another.
Applications
There are several locations that can benefit from the addition of a plastic strip door, such as warehouses, supermarkets, shipping centers, industrial plants, hospitals, restaurants, clean rooms, and auto shops. They are easy to install and can be custom fit to almost any door opening. Uncertain whether a plastic door curtain is the right solution for your business? Contact our customer service team!
