Commercial Electronic Door Lock System

Commercial electronic door lock systems provide tight control over building access, allowing you to determine exactly who enters your property and when.

Electronic door locks are typically installed in high traffic areas, where their latches, bolts, and electric components often wear out quickly due to frequent use. Routine inspections, maintenance, and repair mitigate these issues, ensuring staff and visitors can access your building without complication or difficulty.

Vortex technicians diagnose and troubleshoot all types of electronic door locks, integrated with a full range of doors, gates, and barrier arms. Our prompt and comprehensive support not only ensures your systems operate reliably, it also extends their lifespan while lowering the cost of ownership. Leveraging our services helps property owners avoid disruptions stemming from:

  • Wear and Tear: Frequent, repetitive motion can wear down a lock’s internal components, making it impossible to access or secure your entryways. Vortex inspections identify and replace worn parts as needed, before they fail.
  • Adverse Weather: Extreme cold and heat can affect electronic components. Rain and excessive humidity can lead to corrosion and short circuits. Dust and dirt can clog moving parts, seizing the locking mechanism. Cleaning and lubrication protects vulnerable elements of your lock system.
  • Physical Damage: Impacts can harm your lock’s mechanical and electronic elements, making it difficult to open or close. After an accident, our technicians can be onsite within a few hours to restore the lock’s performance.
  • Keypad or Card Reader Issues: Dirty, damaged, and aged readers and keypads often fail to respond when users enter their credentials. Cleaning, inspecting, and swapping out malfunctioning parts ensures your business remains accessible to authorized visitors.
  • Network Connectivity Problems: Electronic door locks often rely on security networks to clear users and verify credentials. Vortex checks your communication settings, signal clarity, and software configurations to make sure access data is read and transmitted quickly.

Vortex service teams provide peace of mind. By addressing the troubles and frustrations associated with access control, we ensure electronic door locks function as intended, preventing unauthorized visitors from infiltrating your business. Contact us today to learn how our repair, inspection, and maintenance programs help you save time, money, and effort.

Team P.
We have a small print shop storefront close to the AT&T Center (where the SA Spurs play) and needed a retail front door. We shopped around and called a number of door companies with minimal, or should I say, less than enthusiastic efforts to gain our trust and business. Our stores structure was built in the 1950's so there were many company representatives who came to check it out and never got back to us or there quote was out of this world because of the possibility of many unforeseen issues, to say the least. Once we called VORTEX I could tell we finally had the ball rolling in the right direction. There were a number of folks involved from the beginning; the local Mgr. Randy McFarland, Scott McGauvren, to the installers including Cotton and Josh as well as a few others who's names I've forgotten. Most importantly it was a great overall effort by everyone involved ! Although not everything went as planned due to the age of the building and the unexpected obstacles, everything went as smoothly as anyone could expect. Even though they had to return after the initial installation, it was all handled in an organized and professional manner. Thanks to Mr. McFarland and his San Antonio, VORTEX group we have an awesome retail storefront door. JS
